The computer module failed, or the contact from the plug to the plug pins is corroded. I'm not convinced that the motor is bad. Disconnect the wire harness that tethers the encoder. Align the casting and output gear timing marks at the same time you align the two encoder phasing posts, while inserting the shaft into the bushing and verifying that the output gear and the idler gear are engaged properly. Technician should not replace any parts for this concern.
The control module increases the pulse width to accomplish the desired camshaft operation. This solenoid opens and closes a vacuum control valve allowing vacuum to apply and release a clutch pack inside the front axle housing. Tried to change selection but the button was inoperable. Mar 18, 2016 You need to take it to a repair shop that knows this system an has a diagnostic tool to scan for codes. All I did was swap out the sensor and put the motor back on the truck. If you have a single clamp boot, you'll do the same thing without the first clamp. Technician will need to replace the oil pump, flush the oil cooler lines. Each time I needed to adjust it I had to take the encoder motor apart. The dealership said they would replace the sensor for me but he said that the motor is still not going to work properly, but he didn't really give me a good explanation for replacing the whole motor other than that's what C0327 requires. The transfer case shift control module determines whether or not the clutch pack has been applied or released based on a signal from the front axle switch mounted on the front axle housing assembly.

When I turn on the key I see the selector switch light up but it will not make any effort to change to 4x4 or low or anything.
