This mapping focuses on Rekordbox's workflow for the most part while taking advantage of Traktor specific features such as the Remix Decks and new Sequencer functionality.

The only reason I use rekordbox is when the club I'm playing request for me to do a specific set or focus on a specific type of music. It would be a let down!! While still expensive you're getting a lot of professional quality features for a fraction of the cost of actually getting each thing individually. It doesn't have to be one of those heavy flight cases either. Or is everyone going by old pre-midi mapping assumptions? My son even plays with it, and nothing has happened to it. I have had no luck finding one myself nor have I heard of it being done but would personally love to do it. I didn't buy either yet. Bit later than promised but worth the wait! . You can just drag playlist from Serato into Rekordbox to analyze prior to your set. I personally have had no issues with my controller. Right after buying them I went straight to a friend's house to setup for a party. So I use Serato and Rekordbox a lot. So far I'm in love with the 700s and when I use my friends cdj2000nxs2, I feel comfortable.
I was on Traktor so I was already used to not having them but my friend that came from Serato said it taught him a lot. I suppose in this sense the ddj-sz is the flagship controller and this would also be the reason most here know to avoid all ddj-r controllers as none will ever work natively with serato. Or if anyone is aware of any major differences between the 2 controllers I would love to know. Most people have decent computers these days.
I'll have it up on maps. One snag when setting it up though. Pioneer basically declares war on Traktor with their own software so I don't think it's really weird they won't release a official mapping. In all honesty requesting after any single devise would not gain proper traction due to lower sales overall but as a whole there may be some interest.
