I am thinking the account has to be the primary one to get the calendar to show. In order to switch your default account, you need to log out of all your Google accounts and then re-login starting with your desired default account. Set the calendar that you want.

It is impossible to completely delete default calendar without deleting your Google Account. I prefer to have it set to No. I had to factory default the phone to give it a new address. I have set everything up on Google. Would you like to answer one of these instead? Anyway to your question, my apps were not there once I changed the default email but I only had a few so it was easy to download them. What we can only remove are those calendars under it.
